Climate

The climate of Guatemala is favourable and pleasant throughout the year, so any time is a good time to travel to this warm country. Temperatures are high in all regions of Guatemala, affected only by altitude, thus it is warmest at the coast and cooler in the highlands, particularly at night. High-lying Guatemala City and Antigua are thus comfortably warm, and experience less rainfall than the coastal areas. The rainy season is between May and November.
