Paris Charles de Gaulle International Airport (CDG)

Location: The airport is 14 miles (23km) north east of Paris.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 between last Sunday in March and last Sunday in October).

Transfer between terminals: The three terminals are linked by free shuttle buses.
Getting to the city: There is a good train service with the RER B line that serves the airport with connections to the city centre and the Metro station. From the airport RER B can be accessed from terminal 2 railway station stop on the airport shuttle. The RER B line is serviced every fifteen minutes Monday through Friday and takes 50 minutes to the city centre costing €8.40. The Roissy bus line also connects to the city centre and costs €8.40 for the 50 minute drive which buses depart for every 15 to 20 minutes between 7am and 11pm. Air France also runs buses to certain city destinations. The Noctilien night bus runs between 12.30am and 5am with fares depending on destination but below €7.50. Taxis can be found outside the arrivals terminal and should cost €50 to the city centre (Tel: 01 47 39 00 91).
Car rental: All major car rental companies are represented.
Airport Taxis: There are taxis outside the baggage reclaim area of the arrival terminals. The taxi fare to the city centre is generally €50.
Facilities: There are ATMs, banks and bureaux de change in all terminals as well as a wide selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Terminal 1 also has a hairdresser and a business facility that includes meeting rooms, fax and photocopier. Internet facilities and wireless Internet access are also available. Mobile phones can be rented at the airport. Disabled passengers are well catered for at the airport.
Parking: Short-term parking at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport ranges from €4 per hour to €32 per day. Long-term parking costs €120 for the first week and €5 per day thereafter for up to 30 days. Drop-off zones cost €2 per 20 minutes and the PR Lot for those with reduced mobility costs €23 for the day.

Paris Orly Airport (ORY)

Location: The airport is nine miles (14km) south of Paris.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October).

Transfer between terminals: The two terminals are linked by a free shuttle bus.
Getting to the city: Several choices of public transportaiont methods are the cheapest way to the city centre. RER C trains leave regularly from both terminals and connect to the metro and SNCF train stations. A number of bus services also operate from both terminals such as the Roissy bus line and Air France. Taxis are an expensive albeit fast way to the city centre although they should be avoided in rush hour. Fares usually cost US$35 but are more expensive at night (Tel: 01 47 39 00 91). Airport shuttles also offer door to door service or connections to public transportation stations.
Car rental: All the major car rental companies are represented at the airport.
Airport Taxis: There are taxis outside the arrival terminals and the taxi fare to the city centre is generally €35.
Facilities: There are a number of shops, bars and restaurants throughout the airport and both terminals have ATMs, banks and currency exchange services. Other facilities include information desks, an art gallery, left luggage, and a medical centre offering vaccinations. Internet access points and wireless Internet access is available, and a business centre offers a venue and equipment for business needs. Disabled passengers are well catered for; passengers with special needs are advised to inform their airline in advance.
Parking: Parking charges at Paris-Orly Airport range from €3.40 per hour to €27.50 per day in P0 to P3, which are within a short distance of the terminal. Regular shuttle buses connect P 4 and P5 to the terminal and charges start at €1.80 for an hour and €3 for two hours going up to €15.50 per day. Just three minutes from the South Terminal is lot P6 with rates starting at €2.50 for the first hour and going up to €27.50 for the first day and €21.50 per day thereafter. All parking lots, except P5, are closed between 12.30am and 3.30am in summer and 4.30am during winter.

Bordeaux Airport (BOD)

Location: The airport is located eight miles (13km) west of Bordeaux.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October).

Transfer between terminals: A short covered walkway links the two terminals/halls.
Getting to the city: There are regular bus services to the city centre from Terminal B taking about 30-45 minutes. Trains from the Arrivals halls transport passengers to the city centre. Taxis are available outside the airport.
Car rental: Car hire firms Avis, Budget, Europcar and Hertz, among others, operate from the airport.
Facilities: Airport facilities include a number of bars, shops and restaurants, as well as travel agencies and tour operators. ATMs and bureaux de change are also available. Internet facilities are available in Departures. The airport has good facilities for disabled passengers; those with special needs are advised to let their airline know in advance.
Parking: There are express, short-term and long-term parking options available at Bordeaux Airport. Parking lot P1 is located within easy walking distance from the terminal building, and charges €3 for an hour, €6 for three hours and €12 for 24 hours. P2 has free parking for 30 minutes and charges €12 per day, while P4 is the most cost-effective for long-term parking, with a weekly rate of €25. There is a free shuttle service linking outlying P4 to the terminal building.

Saint Exupéry International Airport (LYS)

Location: The airport is situated 15 miles (24km) east of Lyon.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 between last Sunday in March and last Sunday in October).

Transfer between terminals: The two terminals are connected by a free shuttle bus.
Getting to the city: Buses leave regularly for Lyon and the other main towns and cities in the Rhône-Alpes area. Taxis are available outside Terminal 1 Arrivals. There is a TGV train station within walking distance of the airport with regular services to France's main cities, details on the airport website.
Car rental: Avis, Budget, Europcar, Hertz, National Citer and Sixt are represented at the airport.
Facilities: Facilities at the airport include left luggage, a post office, bars, restaurants, shops, a travel agency and a business centre with meeting rooms and secretarial services. ATMs and bureaux de change are available throughout the airport. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should contact their airline in advance.
Parking: Plenty of car parking is available; the further away areas are connected to the terminal building by a free shuttle service every 10 minutes.

Marseille Provence Airport (MRS)

Location: The airport is located 15 miles (24km) north of Marseille and 16 miles (26km) south of Aix-en-Provence.

Getting to the city: Shuttle buses leave every 20 minutes for Marseille Saint-Charles Rail Station, where connections can be made to other destinations; buses also connect the airport with Aix-en-Provence bus station and Aix-TGV rail station. Metered taxis are available outside the terminal.
Car rental: Avis, Budget, Europcar and Sixt are represented at the airport; desks are located on the ground floor of Hall 4.
Facilities: Facilities include a variety of retail outlets and duty free shopping; bars, restaurants and cafes, Internet cafés, a Business Centre, and banks, ATMs and bureaux de change.
Parking: Parking at Marseille Provence Airport starts at €6 for the first four hours and goes up to €15 per day in lots P1 and P6; €2.50 for the first hour up to €12 per day in P2, P5 and P10; and €2.50 for the first hour up to €8 per day for P3 and P7, which are further away but served by a free shuttle.

Nice Cote dAzur Airport (NCE)

Location: The airport is situated four miles (6km) west of Nice.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 between last Sunday in March and last Sunday in October).

Transfer between terminals: A free shuttle bus connects the two terminals every 5-10 minutes between 4:30am and 12:30am; but they are close enough together to be walking distance.
Getting to the city: Buses leave regularly for hundreds of destinations between Marseilles and Genoa, and Buses 98 and 99 go into Nice every 20-30 minutes. Bus 98 goes from Terminal 1 into central Nice, while Bus 99 goes to the railway station from both terminals. Both cost €4. TER and SNCF trains go to Cannes and most other main towns and cities from Nice, and the stations are within a mile of the airport.
Car rental: All major car rental companies are represented in the arrivals area, including Avis, Europcar, Hertz, Sixt, National and Libertans.
Airport Taxis: Metered taxis are available outside both terminals, and the average fare into Nice is €22-30 during the day and €27-32 at night.
Facilities: There are a number of restaurants, bars and shops, banks and foreign exchange facilities in both terminals. Other facilities include a post office, first aid station, VIP lounges, prayer rooms, meeting points, and business centre with meeting rooms, fax, photocopier and internet facilities. Disabled facilities are good, passengers with special needs should contact their airline in advance. Luggage-wrapping services (€8) and porters (€3 per bag) are available, as well as left-luggage facilities (€5 per day). There is wi-fi available throughout the airport, with the first half hour free.
Parking: There are plenty of short and long-term parking is available at both terminals. P9 is the most economical at €7, but P2 and P3 are closer to the terminals and charge €14. Extra-security lots G1 and G2 charge €25, and long-term parking is available in lot P8 for €44. P8 is farther away from the terminals, but there is a free shuttle bus.

Strasbourg Airport (SXB)

Location: The airport is nine miles (14km) southwest of Strasbourg.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October).

Getting to the city: There is a regular shuttle bus to Baggersee station where trams can be taken to the city centre. Entzheim train station is a five-minute walk from the airport terminal from where trains connect to the city of Strasbourg. Alternatively taxis are available outside Arrivals.
Car rental: All major car rental companies are represented at the airport.
Airport Taxis: Taxis are available from the airport to the city. However, most of central Strasbourg is off-limits to taxis and other vehicles.
Facilities: Airport facilities include shops and duty free shopping, bars, restaurants, ATMs, bureau de change and a business centre. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should ideally advise their airline in advance.
Parking: Short- and long-term parking is available at rates ranging from between €4 and €5 for the first hour and increasing by €1-2 per hour up to 9 hours. The daily rate ranges from €15 to €46.

Toulouse Blagnac International Airport (TLS)

Location: The airport is located five miles (8km) northwest of Toulouse.

Getting to the city: Buses leave every 20 minutes for Toulouse from outside Arrivals. Taxis are also available.

Facilities: There are bars, shops and a restaurant in the terminal. Other facilities include banks, bureaux de change, Internet access, travel agencies and a business centre. Disabled facilities are good; passengers with special needs should ideally contact their airline in advance.
Parking: Six car parks are available at Toulouse Blagnac International Airport. The first 30 minutes is free, thereafter rates range between €3 or €4 for the first hour to €11 or €15 per day depending upon proximity to the terminal buildings.

Lille Lesquin International Airport (LIL)

Location: The airport is situated about six miles (10km) from Lille close to the Belgian border.
Time: GMT +1 (GMT +2 from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October).

Getting to the city: The Navette airport shuttle service operates between the arrivals hall and the Euralille shopping centre in the city centre, hourly each day from 5.30am (later on weekends). A return fare costs €7.60. Several taxi companies serve the airport.
Car rental: Four car rental companies have desks in the Arrivals hall: Avis, National Citer, Europcar and Hertz.
Facilities: The airport has a bank, ATM, restaurants, cafeterias, bars, a duty free shop, newsagent, post office, tourist help desk and business centre.
Parking: Short-term parking at Lille Airport costs €1.50 per hour up to €60.50 per week in lot P2. P3 is the closest to the terminal and costs €10 per hour and €69 per week, while sheltered parking in P4 is €35 per day and €75 per week. The long-term car park, P1, is further from the terminal and costs €42 per week; it is serviced by a free shuttle to the terminal.

EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg (BSL)

Location: St Louis, France

Getting to the city: There is regular bus service from the airport to a number of local towns, including Basel, Strasbourg, Saint Louis, Mulhouse, Colmar and Freiburg. There is no direct rail service to the airport, but there are train stations in Basel.
Car rental: Hertz, Avis, Europcar, National, and Sixt operate car hire facilities at Basel Airport.
Airport Taxis: There are taxis available on both the Swiss and French sides of the airport. The average fares to nearby towns are as follows: Mulhouse €45 day/€60 night, Freiburg €110, Basel CHF40.
Facilities: The terminal contains an information desk, restaurants and cafes, duty-free shopping, currency exchange and ATMs, and wireless and ADSL internet available for a fee.
Parking: There is plenty of parking available, however charges vary between the French and Swiss sides. Short-term parking (less than two hours) is €0.60-0.80 for every 10 minutes, and hourly parking is €3.70 on the French side and €5.70 on the Swiss side. Long-term parking is €30 for four days on the French side, and €48 for four days on the Swiss side. Airport restaurants may validate for free parking.
