Climate

The weather in Antigua and Barbuda is wonderful all year with an average midday temperature of around 81°F (27°C); night temperatures drop to about 68°F (20°C). The weather is cooler in winter, between December and March, but is still warm. Afternoon showers can be expected during the rainy season (mid-September to November). The hurricane season is from July to November and travellers should check the weather forecast if travelling over these months. The weather in Antigua and Barbuda is fairly hot and dry for the remainder of the year but the islands are tempered by sea breezes and the trade winds. Most tourists travel to Antigua between mid-December and mid-April, this is therefore also the most expensive time to travel.
