A honeymoon in Antigua is an enticing opportunity to spend
quality time together while taking advantage of the island's
gorgeous beaches, harbour-front amenities, historic nautical
attractions and near-perfect weather.
Antigua Honeymoon Things To Do
On honeymoon in Antigua, couples will find an array of things to
see and do together. This island boasts 365 beaches (one for each
day of the year) as well as fabulous wrecks for diving and
snorkelling, great sailing winds and beautiful nature walks.
Some of the best beaches include those at Fort James and Deep Bay,
both of which offer fantastic swimming and snorkelling
opportunities, while Galley Bay is good for surfing and Hawksbill
has a nudist beach. Nearby Redonda Island is the world's smallest
island kingdom, an interesting excursion for honeymoon couples.
In town, the white Baroque towers of St John's Cathedral should
definitely be on any couples' sightseeing list, as should Redcliffe
Quay's romantically quaint setting. The Museum of Antigua and
Barbuda is a must for history lovers, and the old navy fort at
Shirley Heights offers beautiful views of the town.
